Recently, I was tasked with designing a cable adapter for the Big Grips iPad case, a squishy foam case made to be "kid-proof." Although it effectively protects the device from children's hands, its size makes charging difficult. My objective was to create an adapter that would simplify plugging while adhering to the original design aesthetic. The finished adapter press fits over the Apple USB cable securely and lines up the cable with the dock port opening for easy charging.
