IoT Thermal Printer Enclosure Box

IoT Thermal Printer Enclosure Box

thingiverse

This box is a slightly customized version of Adafruit's IoT Printer Enclosure (available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18319). Key modifications include adding three holes on the side panel for status LEDs, which show data receiving, printing, and connection error statuses. I used Freerange firmware and hardware setup in my IoT printer project; learn more at https://github.com/freerange/printer/wiki/Making-your-own-printer. To avoid extra wiring, I moved the back panel hole for the power adapter to connect directly into the Arduino jack. I also straightened the saw-toothed front panel and replaced the @-sign holes with a custom engraving. This is the enclosure cut-out file for Adafruit's IoT Printer.
