An effortless way to make slush ice with your fridge is just a breeze. The bucket is designed for a German ice brand called "BUSSY Kratz Drink". To keep the fluid moving, the content will be shaken 180°, which will simply form some small ice crystals and prevent it from freezing completely. The IoT features are entirely unnecessary. You can use any microcontroller you like instead. If you do decide to use the IoT features, make sure your fridge has an internet connection - a pretty standard requirement, really.
