The goal of this project was to develop a device that could control a home light switch or key from the internet. Many products on the market are difficult to install because they require expertise as an electrician and can even be hazardous. We wanted to avoid touching anything in the existing installation. In addition, we wanted our home switch to remain functional. Then, we came up with the idea of creating something using a Wemos and a servo. This circuit combined with a proper design for a cabinet allows us to perform the task. And as a control platform, we used Blynk, which we consider one of the best platforms that enables us to control devices made in Arduino or other devices (Wemos, Nodemcu, etc) from the internet. On the other hand, the main objective of all our projects is to create something made by ourselves (DIY). We wanted to create a version made by ourselves (Do it yourself) to take on the challenge and also use a bit of our creativity.
