This thing is to help stabilize an additional weight used to counterbalance the RA axis of the SkyGuider Pro. I designed this collar so that standard barbell weights can be used on the counterbalance shaft, securing the weight against the stock counterbalance as well as centering the disk on the counterweight shaft. I recommend that you use a 4 wall count shell as this adds strength to the collar's threaded section.
