Ionic Order Column
thingiverse
Enjoy the fourth of five classical order basic standards: Corinthian Order - Coming Soon! For now, this model doesn't come with decorative features like foglia, beads, etc. If you edit this model, you have a great base to work from. I modeled and based it on strict studies by Chambers and Vigniola. This is accurate and proportional according to the order's standards. I included two column options: Full and Truncated. I printed, sanded, filled, and painted the truncated versions at 200% (as shown in the picture - I'm not sure why the picture appears so squashed). You'll need supports for the capital. I found that setting overhang threshold to 10 does just fine. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!
