Ion Ray_Gun is currently being constructed. I possess all necessary electronics, which simply require assembly and a functionality test to complete. Additionally, I must print the enclosure parts to verify that everything fits together properly. The circuit is relatively straightforward... A ZVS driver powers a primary winding, which then gets transformed in a secondary coil. The output of the secondary is rectified by a cascade multiplier. To prevent corona discharge and subsequent destruction of the power supply, the device will be filled with mineral oil. The device will be powered by 12vdc using AA batteries. High voltage ions will leak off of a metallic sharp discharge located at the front of the device. 2/11/2019 Update... I believe I have completed drafting. I will begin printing the first prototype. Stay tuned, and I'll continue documenting progress.
