Ion Dice (print at 800%)
thingiverse
These chemistry dice were crafted specifically for my high school class. The goal was to create a tool that helps students hone their skills in balancing cation and anion charges by forming a balanced ionic compound from the results of each roll. The dice are available as both pairs and individual units, along with the original blender file, so you can customize them to suit your needs. You can use these dice in groups or have each student practice on their own to master various combinations. Additionally, students can also learn to name the resulting compound, including iron ions with variable charges. If there's anything else you'd like to see included with the dice, please let me know!
