This cup facilitates assembly of four proteins that form a molecular ion channel found in cellular structures. The molecular structure, however, cannot be shared until research publication. Cup design provides a clear view of the channel from above and below, aligned orthogonally to its opening. This tool's utility hinges on the availability of the protein, expected by late summer 2012; it requires setting a centering well due to its size for ABP.
