Ion Block Rocker - Wheel Hack

The Block Rocker gets a major upgrade with the addition of a new wheel system, designed to take this portable boom box on even more adventures. This innovative upgrade consists of two cleverly designed 3D printable brackets and some readily available parts that easily snap into place. The bracket system is specifically crafted to fit snugly into the original wheel system's bolt holes, allowing it to seamlessly integrate with the existing design. Once in place, these brackets hold larger wheels on either side of the Block Rocker, providing a smoother ride over rough terrain. To upgrade your Block Rocker's wheel system, you'll need the following parts: 1. 1 x 460mm length of M8 stainless steel rod 2. 2 x M8 standard nuts 3. 2 x M8 lock nuts 4. 6 x M8 washers 5. 4 x M4 round headed bolts (15mm long) 6. 4 x M4 washers 7. 2 x scooter wheels (approx. 100mm - 130mm diameter) with bearings 8. 1 x Left 3D printable bracket 9. 1 x Right 3D printable bracket For more information and inspiration, check out Thomas Forsyth's blog at http://thomasforsyth.tumblr.com/post/93801241771/block-rocker-wheel-hack
