Project History: * April 14, 2015 - New Update: Check Out the Latest Video on YouTube at https://youtu.be/mJ5Dg3-OLNw. * December 28, 2014 - Added a Custom-Made Top Cover Design to Support the Mobius Action Cam's Magnets More Effectively. We Also Created a Special GoPro 3 Case That Needs Testing. Getting Started with Your Hexacopter Project: For This Print Job, I Used an Ultimaker 2, Ensuring Consistency and High-Quality Results Throughout. The Infused Layer Setting Was Kept at 100% to Guarantee Strongness in Every Aspect of the Print. To Optimize Performance, the Arms Were Printed with a 0.1mm Layer Height and 50mm/s Speed. For Better Flexibility, Infill Was Maintained at 100%. While It Took Time, This Strategy Resulted in Solidly Structured Arms Built from PLA Material That Will Definitely Survive Tough Landings. Moving On to the Main Body: a Layer Height of 0.2mm and a 70mm/s Print Speed Were Set to Strike a Balance Between Detail and Practicality. To Get Rid of Clogged Filaments, Combining Was Disabled When Printing with ColorFAB's XT. Top Cover Printing Involved Both Supported and Unsuppoted Prints to See Which Would Come Out Better. A Support Grid Was the Real Winner Here, Giving a Smooth 87-Degree Angle for Magnets to Align Easily. Assembly Took Careful Handling, Where the Arms Had to Fit Nicely Within the Main Body with Some Pressing by a Rubber Hammer for Optimal Placement. As for the Cover, a 105% Scale Print Came Out Best. All of This Together Enables Us to Reach Maximum Speed and Air Flow Like Never Before. Finally, Be Sure To Get Reliable 8mm x 1mm Diameter Magnets to Make It Work Efficiently - Cheap Deals Can Be Found on Ebay to Keep Up with the Rest!
