The Invisible Woman, formerly known as Invisible Girl, is Susan "Sue" Storm Richards, a fictional superheroine appearing in Marvel Comics comic books. She was the first female superhero created by Marvel during the Silver Age of Comics. Like other Fantastic Four founding members, Sue gained powers after being exposed to cosmic radiation. Her primary power deals with manipulating light waves, enabling her to become invisible herself and others. She can also project strong fields of invisible energy that she uses for various attacks and defenses.
