I Designed a 3D Printed Wall Hook, Originally Made in Inventor - Here's How You Can Modify It I created this wall hook design using Inventor software and have included the original ipt files so you can make your own modifications. The parts are designed to fit together with about 0.5mm of clearance between them, which is perfect for my Cetus 3D printer. I printed the part using eSun wood filament, and the result looks amazing against a white wall - the color and finish work really well together. The design allows you to print without supports, which is great for getting the cleanest results possible. Update: I've been using this hook for a while now, but unfortunately, it completely fell apart when I hung a heavy bag from it. The original print settings weren't ideal - printing it vertically meant that the shear plane lined up with the load direction, which is not what you want in a wall hook. To fix this, I've changed my approach and started printing it horizontally instead. This new orientation means you will need to use supports for the print, but it's worth it for the extra strength it gives you.
