By saying ‘invasion’, I mean ‘upload’. By saying ‘Insectoid’, I mean ‘my character’. Simply put: here’s my uploaded character! This alien is inspired by the humble rainbow scarab with (perhaps obvious) influences from Dragon Ball and Kamen Rider. Initially modelled in ZBrush before subsequently baking the normals and occlusion in Substance Painter, and tweaking the textures and LODs in Photoshop and Maya respectively. Textures are 2048x2048
