Invaders! Mini Arcade Game Cabinet
thingiverse
A miniature game cabinet project constructed with the Adafruit 8x8 LED Matrix and Gemma microcontroller board is presented. The link for details on this project can be found at http://learn.adafruit.com/trinket-slash-gemma-space-invader-pendant. As of June 4, 2014, a USB charging base STL file has been added to the design, which is compatible with 5V Mini USB 1A Lithium Battery Charging boards available on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/5V-Mini-USB-1A-Lithium-Battery-Charging-Lipo-Charger-Module-for-Arduino-A866-/121191682835?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c37965313). Instructions for assembly include gluing the arcadecabinetledspacer to the LED matrix and pressing it through before attaching both to the cabinet. The arcadecabinetbase allows for a JST socket insertion as a charging port. This project marks the user's second attempt at using dissolvable (HIPS) support material, so the print without support is uncertain.
