"invader" stool

"invader" stool

I designed a stool inspired by classic arcade game "space invader" and similar designs found online, which gives it a spaceship-like appearance. This project was part of a class at Haddash College of Industrial Design. The main printed component needs support and should be printed with high infill density since it's the only thing holding you up while seated; I used 50% but more is better. In contrast, the leg covers don't need support and can be printed with an infill ranging from 1 to 30%. I set the layer height at 2.000 for this project. The legs are simple broomsticks available at any convenience or hardware store; the seat measures 350mm and is made from 10mm plywood cut to size using a laser cutter. I hope you enjoy this design, cheers!
