thingiverse
This is a draft design for an intervalometer compatible with Bolex 16mm cameras. The device utilizes a salvaged stepper motor and Arduino microcontroller. The larger gear's OpenSCAD script is separate due to modifications derived from this source: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5111. If you attempt to build one, please let me know. Learn more about it at sixteenmillimeter.com/a-new-bolex-intervalometer or https://github.com/sixteenmillimeter/INTVALNext. Additional components include an IR LED emitter/receiver pair, Arduino Uno (or compatible), Adafruit motor shield (http://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-motor-shield), a 200-step stepper motor, and two 608 bearings (skateboard).
