Intrepid 4x5 Camera Magnifying Focusing Hood

This is a magnifying focusing hood for Intrepid 4x5 cameras. It snaps onto the ground glass back at the top and bottom using clips that can be replaced as they wear or if you break them. The lens used is a 150mm plano-convex lens, which should give around 3X magnification while allowing you to see the entire ground glass. This should be sufficient for most composition and focusing tasks, although for critical focus might need to revert to a dark cloth and high magnification focusing loupe.
