Intravenous chest port seatbelt bridge
thingiverse
As a vital part of my chemotherapy treatment, I had to undergo an intravenous port implantation directly into my chest. Unfortunately, the seatbelt in my car coincidentally sits directly over the port.\r\nI designed this innovative solution to elevate the seat belt off the port. After refining it three times, I settled on this version as the most effective one yet. The cleverly designed slots on each side enable the seat belt to slide into place effortlessly, but it still remains vulnerable on the opposing side. The two precision-fitted caps snugly secure everything in position and prevent any unwanted flexing. For added stability, I considered gluing it in place, but once it's encased within a soft lamb's wool cover, nothing moves and it's perfectly supported.
