Intex Pure Spa Ninjaflex Pump Fitting

The Intex Pure Spa is a surprisingly affordable yet remarkably effective portable hot tub. After about a year of use, water started leaking from the pump/heater unit. A quick examination revealed the culprit - a black rubber hose between the pump and the heater had rotted and torn. It's not just a hose though, it's got a flange on one end that adds to its complexity. The Intex website only lists a complete pump assembly as a replacement part, leaving users with limited options. Local hardware stores were unable to provide a suitable replacement, nor did the local pool supply store have what was needed. A vital note - this part won't work if it's printed out of hard plastic. Ninjaflex stepped in and saved the day! Printed with Ninjaflex flexible filament at 70% infill, it's slightly stiffer than the original but still manages to flex more than enough for a watertight seal and to dampen motor vibration transmitted to the heater with ease.
