Intex pool cover, snap on bracket
thingiverse
I just purchased an Intex pool along with its cover. Unfortunately, the cover doesn't stay in place when it's windy, so I invested three minutes in CAD and designed this snap-on bracket to secure the cover better and more efficiently! Install at least six of these, depending on your pool size; you might need even more for optimal results. This solution also simplifies putting on the cover by yourself. Simply snap one side into place first, then pull it over the rest and snap those on as well. This will keep one side fixed while you pull the rest into position. P.S. The only difference between the two STL files is their resolution. I typically export high-resolution models, but a 77MB file might be too large for some people, so I created a lower-resolution version as an alternative! This design is intended for pipes with a diameter of about 45mm... If your pool uses different-sized pipes, please let me know and I'll add that measurement to the design. UPDATE (May 30th): Version 2 now includes both sides angled upwards to prevent chafing between the cover's edge and the inside.
