Intex Pool 32mm Splitter with Hose Attachment
thingiverse
I created this remixed splitter to simplify injecting hot water from a garden hose into the output flow of a pump, which ultimately feeds my pool. In my scenario, I'm using 32mm tubing for both inflow and outflow, so I worked some copy-and-paste magic in FreeCad to make it happen smoothly. Printed well, though I found supports helpful with that one horizontal section. I used 0.18mm resolution, 4 outer layers, and 25% infill and can't break it by hand easily. Tested the fitting and they all work perfectly, but it's been raining for days so haven't given it a true in-pool test yet. Will post pics when I do finally test it out. Recommend using light-coloured ABS, particularly if you're going to run hot water through it. ABS has a much higher melting point and while lighter colours can get dirty, they reflect heat well, making it that much less likely you'll run into any heat-related deformation issues. A big shout-out goes to Fddi6k for the original splitter design.
