This adapter makes it possible to fit a smaller conical plug into the larger Intex air ring hole, allowing you to fill up the ring with an air compressor. If you have a different size plug or blowgun tip, you can use the customizer function to modify the sizes, although this functionality has not been tested. Make sure your pressure regulator is set to a low number so that you don't accidentally over-inflate the ring and create holes.
