My new Intex Pool came with a surface jet ionizer, but no skimmer. Fortunately, the ionizer's design lends itself perfectly to holding a skimmer net in place. A simple bracket holds the net in the flow of the jet, pushing debris into it. The bracket can be purchased from Amazon for $10. The top rungs of this Intex Pool ladder are notoriously wobbly, but a simple modification can make all the difference. The ladder steady brackets clip easily onto the ladder, and I use a Velcro strap to keep them locked in place. This makes the ladder significantly steadier and easy to move out of the way when needed.
