Interstellar Imperial Army - Lightningstrike fighter

Remake of the now-defunct Lightning Fighter from FW, I've been on a mission to track one down for my SoB army, but it's long since out of production. As a complete newbie to 3D modeling, please feel free to modify this as you see fit. Change Log: 11/6/16 The new model hasn't been re-sliced yet - I'd appreciate it if you could slice it for printing as needed. The original low-res models are still available to print, already sliced and ready to go. I've added a brand-new main cannon, along with some shiny new wing guns. I've also tried to smooth out the rear hoses, but I'm starting to think I might just ditch them altogether. The engine turbines have been replaced with fresh ones, and I've fixed up a few geometry errors that were driving me crazy. The cockpit glass is now fixed, and while I was tempted to model the entire cockpit, I realized it's just too complicated for my skill level - for now, at least. I'm getting started on prepping for some armored upgrades. A small engine support mount has been added to the mix. To-Do List: * Add some detail work - think armor plating, rivets, and all that good stuff. * Re-scale the entire model to match 28mm scale perfection. * Get ready for printing by re-slicing the model and doing a bit of mesh repair. Printing Details: I usually print at a layer height of 2, shell thickness of 1.2, and infill percentage of 15.
