This is part of the comprehensive series of 30 exercises crafted during the innovative 3D4KIDS program. One primary objective of this Erasmus+ program is to enhance teachers' knowledge of 3d printing technology by creating specialized training materials. For more information, visit https://www.3d4kids.eu. This exercise focuses on sketching in a dihedral system intersections of solids (cylinders, prisms, cones, cubes, pyramids, tetrahedrons…) with planes at various angles. Students will be required to draw the dihedral projections of a solid intersected by a plane at an angle α. Following the teacher's explanation of the activity, students will utilize 3D printed solids cut into two pieces, corresponding to the intersection of the plane with a specific angle. This will enable them to observe the resulting shape of the section within the solid.
