This is an internal cap designed specifically for a four-inch square PVC post, standing apart from traditional caps in that it's positioned inside the end of the post rather than atop it. As I'll be using it at the bottom of a post set on the ground, I sought a solution that would remain hidden within the structure. Since this post will contain water, sealing any gaps was essential; printing the cap with 100% infill and securing it tightly with PVC cement should prevent leaks entirely.
