This text describes the first of three mechanisms that perform similar tasks but with distinct approaches. Each mechanism maintains a constant input/output ratio; however, its output varies over time when given continuous input. The initial mechanism employs a planetary (sun/arm/planet) system combined with a quick-return mechanism to achieve intermittent movement, as depicted in the "analysis" image. In this setup, the planetary arm serves as the input (green), while the quick-return sliding bar functions as the output (red). The sun remains fixed (pink), and the planet carries the quick-return actuator pin (orange), which is used to transport the output. The stationary frame (transparent yellow) supports the output. The 3D model was developed using Solidworks 2015, and various formats, including 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB, are available for viewing animated files on diverse devices like IOS and Android using Simlab Viewer app.
