Interlocking Wall Blocks
thingiverse
A shield for my 3D printer, printed and ready to protect it. It keeps the heat in and the dust out, ensuring a clean workspace. I also used it to dispose of short filament pieces that wouldn't be useful otherwise. I designed the cut-off pieces using OpenScad to fit snugly around the poly carbonate cover. My goal was to create a decorative wall that adds visual interest to my printing space. To achieve this, I printed one layer (or two) of a PrintBed pattern in a contrasting color to the building blocks. The design can be found on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4209909. This created a unique and eye-catching base for my printer. Next, I printed additional building blocks onto this pattern, creating a sturdy and functional wall. The Wedge is an essential component that secures the poly carbonate sheet to the H block wall.
