Interlocking Relief plates
thingiverse
This printmaking plate design, not yet tested, features an innovative interlock system using cylindrical pegs rather than the traditional square peg. Sometimes, the interlock can hinder printing, prompting users to cut it off with a knife. To achieve smoother prints, one may sand the surface or treat it with acrylic coatings like Polycrylic. While artist-grade acrylic gels could work, I find the variations appealing without treatment. Warped plates can be flattened using weights or by running them through a press; the plastic's durability is noteworthy.
