Interlocking Pyramid: Design Challenge #2

Interlocking Pyramid: Design Challenge #2

This is a fun little interlocking puzzle that yields a pyramid when finished. To design the puzzle, I broke it down into tiny cubes for a linear and simplistic solution with a twist of complication. What better cubed world than Minecraft? So, I created a 3D model in Tinkercad after replicating the structure from my Minecraft world. This allows for a printable version of the pyramid. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple White Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100, to tackle small, solid components Notes: When working with these pieces, I find they don't adhere well to the bed. I recommend a raft to keep them steady and easy to remove. It's possible the piece may not fit if it's turned upside down! The pyramid itself spans only 35mm across, making it an hour-long print job. Post-Printing: Each part turns out amazing with orange PLA! How this was Designed: To streamline the process and add fun to my design, I decided to create the pyramid entirely in Minecraft.
