Interlocking Face Gears
thingiverse
A typical servo motor controls two meshing gears, referred to as face gears or cams, allowing rotation by 60 degrees counter-clockwise. One gear can subsequently return to its original position by rotating back 60 degrees, forming a cycle. This mechanism is engineered for precise 360-degree movement in increments of 60 degrees, as observed in gumball machine hoppers.
