Interlocking Container for Access Cards

Interlocking Container for Access Cards

Looking for innovative solutions to common problems around the house and office, I set out to solve our office frustration with expired access cards by designing and printing two interlocking containers in Fusion 360. These versatile containers can store 35 swipe access cards, separating active cards in a green container from expired ones that require reactivation in a red container. The design's flexibility allows for use beyond storing access cards, making it suitable for various needs with easy resizing to fit specific requirements. Printed using a 0.2 mm layer height, the containers fit together snugly, requiring only minimal sanding if they don't slide in smoothly at first attempt. To ensure smooth printing, I used PLA material and positioned the base flat on the heated bed without encountering any warping issues.
