Interlocking 3D Carcassonne Tiles Plated, Dualstrusion
thingiverse
Fall in love with this awesome game and its tiles by ravix. However, printing 72 individual tiles can be quite tedious. To simplify this process, an OpenSCAD script has been created to arrange these tiles into four printable plates for use with a Replicator printer. Additionally, plate pairs for dualstrusion have also been generated. All files are organized in a single zip file for convenience. The zip file contains: carcassonne - cathedral_3-1 (repaired).stl (previously unloadable in OpenSCAD but fixed by netfabb), and plates.scad, the script to generate the plates from tile STL files. After downloading and unpacking the zip file, follow these instructions: for one-color sets, print one copy of plate 1 and plate 2, three copies of plate 3, and two copies of plate 4. For dualstrusion, merge the 'top' and 'bottom' files for each plate and follow the same printing quantities. The OpenSCAD script and one repaired file are included for reference. One tile (tile G) is missing in the parent design; a shielded tile has been used as a temporary substitute. Once the missing tile is generated, plate 1 can be regenerated to replace it. Enjoy playing this fantastic game!
