Interior webcam mount for a Makerbot Replicator 2 and its clones. This bracket is designed specifically for a Logitech C270 camera. The camera mount allows for flexible positioning in both horizontal and vertical orientations. Tips and tricks for using or improving this design are welcome, so feel free to post a comment! Replace the middle exterior screws in a desired corner with M4 x 12mm screws, but do not screw them all the way in. Only go until they are flush with the threaded holes on the inside. Slide the wall_mount.stl part over the threaded indents on the inside corner. Finish threading in the screws from Step 2. The mount should be securely held in place. Screw in the camera_mount.stl part in any desired orientation using a M4 x 12mm screw. Tighten the Logitech C270 into the camera_mount.stl part with a M3 x 16mm screw, ensuring it is snug and will not rotate. Variable Height Installation Instructions Complete steps 1-4 from Fixed Height Installation Instructions. Install the wall_mount.stl part in a different corner, completing steps 1-4 from Fixed Height Installation Instructions. Bridge the two wall_mount.stl parts with the height_adjustment.stl part, securing it with M4 x 12mm screws at the top and bottom. While holding the nut_backing.stl still, thread the final M4 x 12 mm screw through the camera_mount.stl and height_adjustment.stl into the nut_backing.stl. The camera_mount.stl can be positioned in any orientation desired. Tighten the Logitech C270 into the camera_mount.stl part with a M3 x 16mm screw, ensuring it is snug and will not rotate. I ended up breaking the original pin and had some spare M3 screws handy. Check the comments for alternative solutions. Cable Management To improve cable management with the webcam's USB cable, run it before installing the wall_mount.stl part(s).
