The ancient cistern of Los Vélez Castle in Mula, Murcia stands strong, its solid stone walls guarding the vital water supply that sustained defenders during sieges. Built directly into the bedrock, this fortress-like structure boasts a rectangular floor plan and is topped with a sturdy barrel vault. The interior features original red plaster, or almagra, which not only protected the space from moisture but also helped conserve precious water resources. Crafted from 867 meticulously aligned images, this detailed model showcases the intricate architecture of this historic cistern, carefully modeled in Agisoft Photoscan version 1.4.
