I frequently capture images at BMX competitions and have found it necessary to hold my flash by its mount for fill lighting purposes. After shooting for an extended period of time, I discovered that holding the camera in this manner can become quite uncomfortable. To address this issue, I created a customized handle that fits perfectly around the baby pin light mount on my strobe. This design may be adaptable to other types of baby pin mounts; however, I have only tested it with the strobe mentioned above. This custom handle also requires a 5/8 inch by 6 inch bolt for secure attachment. The bolt is inserted into the baby pin mount to firmly hold the handle in place.
