Interesting 3D Scanner

Interesting 3D Scanner

This is a 3D scanner I created when I got bored in 3D modeling class. I thought it looked really cool, so I decided to make a model of my own. The design is based on a concept gif I found online. As far as I'm aware, there are no other models of this specific design available. If you decide to print it, you may want to make it a bit larger than usual because the scanner in the front is quite thin and might not turn out well if printed at its current size. You will need support material for this print, potentially using tree support if you don't have dual extrusion available. Also, if you encounter any problems printing this (why would you even want to try?), feel free to leave a comment and I'll fix it right away. UPDATE 2/5/2019: While printing with tree support, I found that Cura doesn't make any support for the scanner in the front. So, I added some myself. I still advise activating tree support along with the support model because there's nothing in the back to hold up the heat sinks.
