Interactive Peek-A-Block Replacements
thingiverse
We scored a sweet deal on a hand-me-down Fisher Price Incrediblock Activity Center from a buddy with several peek-a-block accessories. When I finally got around to swapping out the batteries, I discovered that some of the blocks are interactive, complete with a receptor on top that announces the shape inside and even throws in sound effects. I also found out that I only had 2 of the 12 possible interactive blocks, so instead of buying a set off eBay, I reverse-engineered the ring code used by the center to identify the blocks and created my own custom blocks. If you print them all with the code rings intact as intended when designing, the ones with two or more adjacent code rings missing may need extra support unless you've got really good bridging settings. 20% infill of PLA gives them about the same weight as the other blocks, which makes it perfect for use in the fill and spill side of the center. These are the available interactive blocks I've designed so far: Airplane - B-2 Bomber Boat - SS-581 Blueback Submarine Car - Lightning McQueen Guitar Horn Drum Cat Dog Cow Pig Bird Lamb
