Revised to v1.3: A drip tray was added to prevent leakage, bolting arrangement was amended, and walls were made thinner. Upgraded to v1.2: Boundary size was reduced, templates were revised, recesses for screwdrivers were added at both ends, and corners were rounded to improve adherence to the build bed. Designed based on vibration dampening balls used for GoPro cameras on multicopters. Rough design, with plans to tidy up and make minor tweaks later, such as hinging parts and improving mold pouring ease. Bolt the two parts together using M3 bolts without over-tightening. Mix silicone (RTV 2020) and catalyst and pour into the mold. A guide for mixing can be found on Google; the user has experienced air bubbles due to first-time mixing. Medium hardness silicone was used, but it remains untested in real applications. Printed with Cura at a high infil percentage, using PLA and a layer height of 0.2.
