thingiverse
Intensewalkera H-Copter V1 prototype is radio controlled with an FPV end goal. The creator has shared its progress on YouTube and Thingiverse for reference. As the project evolves, updated files will be available for download, with recent changes already implemented based on the maker's experience. By sharing the design, the inventor hopes others can contribute and expedite development. Revisions include version 1.3 with new motor mounts suitable for Hextronik DT750 motors and a larger gap between the motor and bolt heads. Using locknuts and washers is recommended to prevent the PLA material from pulling through. Version 1.2 features a new front cover plate for a Gopro camera test, while version 1.1 added a new Gopro front end, a basic battery tray, and revised motor mounts based on the original template. For assembly, print parts with support and keep the camera mount part closest to the print bed. Print motor mounts at 100% and other parts at around 35%. Essential components include PLA Ultimaker parts, Hextronik DT750 motors, a 25/30A ESC with BEC, 12x12x1mm SHS aluminum, a receiver, transmitter, a 3-cell 5000mAh Lipo battery pack, and a flight controller (preferably DJI Naza). Videos demonstrating the build process are available on YouTube. As a prototype, this design is still in progress and has proven to work successfully with flight tests documented. The maker plans to create a 10mm framed H-Copter using the same method and will share a build video. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
