The objective behind this assembly is to automatically shut down multiple devices once the main unit (Master) has been powered off. To illustrate this, let's consider a scenario where we connect our PC's CPU to the primary socket on this circuit, while connecting other devices such as the monitor, printer, and scanner to secondary sockets. When the CPU is disconnected, power supply to the entire system will be cut off, including that of the control circuit itself. As a result, there will be no equipment consuming power in Standby mode, leading to a total consumption of zero.
