Intel NUC Gen7 Chassis/Case
thingiverse
I needed a case for my Gen 7 NUC single board computer, so I designed one. Thankfully the 3d model of the board is available on Intel's site (had to modify it to add mounting holes (?!) but that was simple enough. i designed this using Fusion 360. I hope it helps others. please let me know if you like it, if you print it or how it works out. I didn't spend much time modeling the access holes for ports (just used rectangles) and they work but ethernet is a bit tight on the little locking tab. not a showstopper but be aware. Also I added antenna mounting holes which is nonstandard for the NUC. I have not added any front-panel buttons or such (mine doesn't have that and I need to find a connector for the header and do some wiring) but I may in future iterations. I've not tested it for airflow yet either so be aware/watch your heat. Finally I forgot to add a way to affix the lid, I'm using scotch tape for now, but it stays on pretty well even with nothing. I may redesign that if it bugs me enough.
