Intel LGA 775 Heatsink CPU 92mm Fan adapter for Case Fans
pinshape
This design enables you to attach any 92mm case fan to an Intel heatsink. At least specifically those from the Pentium 4 era, which is what I'm using in the example. Some Assembly required. I used 4x M4 nuts, and M4X30mm screws to connect a fan to the adapter. The adapter positions the square profile fan at a 45 degree angle, in order to leave the heatsink screws accessible without the need to take the fan, or the adapter off to unscrew them. [See photo] It was printed at 0.2mm as a balance of layer strength and time, as this took ~100minutes to complete. PETG recommended, PETG print is more flexible than PLA, and makes me feel you can confidently take it on and off multiple times without destroying the prongs which are printed in the non-optimal position for their strength. [At the same setting, only changing the presets in Prusa Slicer 2.2.0, the PLA version came out with a little loose tolerance, you might want to scale it down by like 0.1%-0.5% to get a tight fit, or just use a thin rubber ring around the prongs] Parts required: Intel CPU heatsink 92mm Fan Adapter [This STL file] 92mm fan of whatever brand 4X M4 nuts 4X M4X30mm Screws
