Intel Galileo GEN 2 breakout frame for MLAB
thingiverse
The frame breaks out into a three-dimensional printed breakout shape, which allows it to work mechanically with the Intel Galileo GEN 2 development kit inside it. This development system belongs to MLAB's electronic prototyping and development project (http://wiki.mlab.cz/). The holder for the Intel Galileo board secures fast using four M3 screws. The breakout frame can be printed in ABS or PLA plastic using almost all FDM 3D printers with good results. It is necessary to check where traces are placed inside thin walls after they are sliced. The model includes bottom holes to cover nuts made of one layer of material. This design allows the slicing software to plan a bridge that covers all the holes. This bridge should be drilled out by hand using a 3mm drill once it's been printed. Nuts must be put into these prepared holes from the bottom side. The MLAB's SVN Repository contains more file formats and newer sources available free of charge (http://www.ust.cz/shop/product_info.php?products_id=177). This source includes the dural base board also available for sale on MLAB.
