It is common for the plastic handles on older (90s) GWInstek GSP series spectrum analyzers, GOS series oscilloscopes, and similar instruments to get brittle with age and break. I was preparing my GSP-810 for sale and realized the missing handle would have a devastating effect on its value--so, I used FreeCAD to design a new hub and used 3/4" aluminum flat stock, reinforced with oak strips across the long span to make a new handle. Presented here is the multi-pin locating hub (2 required) for the handle's connection to the cabinet. Photos show the finished handle also.
