This is redesigned highly integrated printing head for BMG clone dual drive extruder fitted with E3D V6 hotend is adding BL Touch adjustable mount. Printing head is universal and expects the final user to adapt the fitment to suit his own. However my aim was to fit this on my Artillery Sidewinder X1 therefore following informations would make it easier for you. Credits for the original model goes to "Babyjail" https://www.thingiverse.com/babyjail/designs be aware ORIGINAL DESIGN DOES NOT FIT BMG CLONE EXTRUDER, if you don't like BLTouch, don't have it or whatever, it will work without it too PLEASE READ implementation of BLTouch is NOT included in this simple guide !! if you plan to instal BLTouch, this is not the right "How to ... " - Thank you - follow the original mounting instructions from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3358417 , regarding required fitting material such as screws and nuts - in addition, the following screws and nut are required: 1pc M3 x 10mm socket head - for BLTouch slider mount 1pc M3 square nut - for BLTouch slider mount 3pc M3 x 28 mm ABS plastic spacers with hole 3 mm, to space up 22 mm for M3 x 28 mm bolts - in order to fit this on your sidewinder X1, 22 mm clearance is required between extruder mount and X axis carriage, replace three M3 short bolts with 28 mm ones (might require trimming - check if not catching frame when mounted) and use the ABS plastic spacers to create the 22 mm clearance - required to accommodate 40 mm fan, part cooling fan holding plate has to be cut off of the mount and edge trimed off 3mm to accomodate 5015 radial fan - X axis end stop adjustment required - either move the endstop far enough to stop the carriage before printing head hits anything - BL Touch clears the motor but 40 mm fan doesn't !! - or extend the reach of carriage towards end stop - I will update with better mount including X axis endstop reach and 22 mm thicknes to clear the mount offset - marylin adjustment is neccesary: NOZZLE_TO_PROBE_OFFSET - find your coordinates Z_SAFE_HOMING - will always home Z axis in the centre of the bed NOZZLE_X_OFFSET NOZZLE_Y_OFFSET // if unsure then 0 for each axis works fine for the start and following re-centering X_BED_SIZE (300 - NOZZLE_X_OFFSET) Y_BED_SIZE (300 - NOZZLE_Y_OFFSET) Any feedback or ideas to improve this and adjustments or implementation are welcome, thank you - have fun UPDATE for v1.1 - Part cooling duct - restricting small holes at the end of the duct has been removed with full opening - improved and much more sufficient part cooling, better overhangs and bridging
