Integrated Parametric RepRap Pre-Release 1
thingiverse
This initial launch comprises core files for my endeavor to create an Integrated Parametric RepRap in OpenSCAD. The two files, IPR_DNA and IPR_func, encompass all essential elements. IPR_DNA houses constants and calculations defining a specific robot's unique features (like build space and hardware sizes). Meanwhile, IPR_func contains standard modules such as motor mounts, bearing mounts, etc. Currently, it constructs the main frame based on the hardware specified in IPR_DNA (as depicted in attached images). However, it does not generate printable items yet; it's for sharing and feedback purposes. The accompanying pictures showcase a 100x100, 150x150, 200x200 build space with typical Mendel hardware and a 300x300 build space with larger components (608 guide bearings and 12mm rod), showcasing the design's flexibility.
