This file only includes the Filament Filters designed to integrate with Rammeh's Advanced Flashforge Finder Filament Reel Holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2625213) - download/print the Reel Holder separately. After building Rammeh's Filament Reel for our Finder, I created a filament dust filter to minimize dust transit to the extruder. Tried popular designs but was unimpressed; I decided to design a model that integrates better with the Holder's filament armature. Two models are included - Basic & Quick-Change. For those who prefer 'set it and forget it', Basic provides overall dust enclosure - add filtration foam and drive the filament up through. Those in dusty homes or shops need clean their foam more often can use the Quick-Change model, easy to twist on/off as needed. Using FlashPrint, I print bottom-up with linear supports, easier to clean out this scale. Use pliers to remove interior supports and carefully crunch the supports around the arm; be careful not to break off the arm. I use a needle file to true up the filament hole before attachment. Printing down is marginally easier (arm side down), but found removing supports in the interior more difficult even with fewer - results may vary. Set a small cube of filtration foam into the respective filter body and drive the filament up through the hole bottom-up (Basic model) or make a single cut halfway through the foam to create a channel for the filament (Quick-Change model). Once on, slide up to the Reel Holder's filament armature and twist counter-clockwise to seat around the tube as shown in the photos.
