Intake tract/funnel for print cooling fan

Intake tract/funnel for print cooling fan

prusaprinters

A funnel/intake tract for the print fan. By gradually decreasing the cross-sectional area leading down to the intake of the fan, the performance of the performance of the fan should increase. This is however most probably grossly oversized so the main benefit from it is that it looks cool. EDIT: With my setup of this intake tract and my duct, I can print small parts (30mm long pasta screw) completely without artifacts that I could not print without "ugliness" on the backside due to insufficient cooling without the intake tract and with the original fan duct. Also, I've turned the normal cooling down from 85% to 50%. TIP: To reduce noise due to vibrations, add some weak, thin, doublesided tape between the fan and the extruder body and between the nozzle and the fan around the outside (Not on the middle part).
